Tagaytay is a cool place. And when we say a cool place, of course there should be a cool place to eat-- Fine dining, good ambiance and a little touch of sentimental aura. One that I love to recommend is Bag of Beans. It has the best cheese cake that I've ever tasted. It's so creamy and yet the icing is so fine. The catch is you should go in the evening so to see the magical-fantasy style of the place.
I think the best Filipino dishes are at Leslie's. Bulalo and beef steak here are the best. It has a good ambiance, with a good view of the Taal Lake. Most of all, I like the 18th century Filipino style of the place. Prices are affordable too.
Lastly, Antonio's Breakfast is a great spot also. It has a view of Taal Lake although not that good compared to Leslie's. But if you want a Victorian style of dinery, this might be the place. The Chicken Teriyaki is superb and milk shakes are so delicious. Prices are of middle class but it is basically good. :)
